The flavors are reminiscent of black raspberries with just a whiff of
spice. The tannin level is low enough that serving it at cellar
temperature, along the lines of Beaujolais, is a good idea. Loaded with
jammy plum and cherry flavors, zesty spices and hints of bittersweet
chocolate. The finish is long and peppery, a deeply fruity wine ideal
for meats that are grilled, a Spanish paella, brick oven pizzas, roast
chicken and anything Asian.
